The Alchemist

I remember the first time I read this book it changed my life completely. I realized that life is about the following lessons:

1. The most simple things in life are the most extraordinary.
 
2. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
 
3. When you possess great treasures within you and try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed.
 
4. The secret of life, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.
 
5. The closer one gets to realising his destiny, the more that destiny becomes his true reason for being, thought the boy.
 
6. When you want something the whole universe conspires in helping you achieve it.
 
7. The treasure that we seek elsewhere, we find it at our doorstep.
